Night R/C Speed Boating!
When Eric and Bob came to visit and fly with us, we talked Eric into putting lights on his boat and race it around the pond. He was game and here are the results. Jeff and Mary were on hand as spectators. I ran the camera and this is how it went. Hey cool! I’m from Augusta myself (currently living in Aiken SC). That’s a heckuva drive, but if I got the chance to cut heads with The NightFlyyer I’d have to consider it myself!

Great video. Are those real frogs I hear or part of the music? I’ve been in Las Vegas for 20 years so that sound is very weird to hear! Nice boat and lights!

Both…. 4 glow sticks, aka chemical lights, aka snap lights or snap sticks. And 4 (or 5) rapidly flashing LEDs.

Ah yes, always LOADS of fun! We are back in SoCal now. Flew the kite yesterday up in Barstow. The winds were SO strong that it broke my lines 4x so I gave up after that. Still had GREAT fun tho. Saw a load on the board going to Iowa today only 74 miles from Sibley but it didn’t pay diddly squat so I passed on it as much as it pained me to do so. I’ll keep trying.
Can’t wait to see the vids from Eric’s visit!

Eric just left and we have lots of video work to do now. We did some wild and crazy flying. Thanks for the comments and support.
