@melisa33ify Yeah, maybe so…but I’m talking about under normal conditions. These jet boats may be able to cross short stretches of shallow water– mainly due to inertia– but I seriously doubt they could perform well continually in two inches of water. Unlike with aircraft, jet power on water is very inefficient….it takes waaayy more horsepower for a jet boat to attain the same speeds as an outboard/prop driven boat…and that makes power-to-weight ratio of a jet boat very lousy.
@alternatehistories try running your bass boat in 2 inches of water n see if you can beat it!!

Jet boats make a lot of noise but they’re not that fast. A bass boat with a 225 hp. outboard will outrun these jet boats.

Yep, the music sucks. Music, even good music doesn’t sound as good as a screaming engine, it just gets in the way.
